Friday I had the pleasure of photographing an amazing young man. Born at only 2lb 2oz., doctor's prepared his family for the worst. It's a miracle he survived his first few days. As we talked during our session I was moved by his story. He's truly an inspiration. Here are a few of his answers to my Senior Survey:
Q: What do you like doing in your free time?
A: I enjoy working out. Right now I'm into Krav-Maga & listening to music.
Q: What kind of music do you listen to?
A: All kinds, from Taylor Swift to Switchfoot.
Q: What did you like best about your senior year?
A: I conquered some of my fears this year. I'm proud of my accomplishments.
Q: What do you like best about you? I'm a hard worker & a nice guy. I try to put other peoples feelings before my own.

I had a great photo session with an amazing senior. After reading her answers to my "Senior Survey" I learned she's a natural beauty inside & out. Here are some of her answers & a few of my favorite pics:

A. I plan on attending Texas State to pursue a degree in Sports Medicine and one day become a trainer for a professional baseball team.

I guess being this beautiful you get used to people wanting to take pictures of you. I was amazed as he sat by & allowed people to get upclose & personal shots from all angles.

An Amazing Afternoon

My grandmother & aunt have an amazingly tranquil garden. I took Jonah & Jayden over for a visit and got a chance to snap some photos of their beautiful flowers. Enjoy!

Had a silly morning with these two & the camera. I played around with some settings & post production effects. I like the way they came out. There's a real gritty look to them yet the detail of the image isn't compromised. They remind me of old 60's pictures. What do you think?

I've got a few sessions coming up that I'm excited about along with a new lens. I can't wait. Stay tuned!
